Kaz watched from afar as he saw the small little soldier walk about the mountainside through the lens of a camera. With a snap the shutter clicked and its image was burned into the film as he readied another shot and aimed the camera upward. Up above there was another Pokemon, one that looked like the little cadet soldier that looked like a much bigger version of it with one noticeable detail. The shoulder pads. Or would shoulder pauldrons be the more appropriate word for it? One thing was for certain... "I gotta get one of those on my team. What about you? These things catch your eye?"

As he asked his question to Raziel Beckett the camera shutter clicked one more time. This time as the shutter opened up the strange Pokemon looked like it glanced towards Kaz's direction and the large ginger rolled back behind the rock he was hiding behind. "They don't look...like they'd try and attack us but, who knows what these Pokemon from where ever they come from are like."

Razz watched from his monocular to see what the new pokemon were like. Several of them seeming to be playing a little game as they seemed to try to make the fire on their head grow. There is a hum from him as the newer Ranger ask his question as it's clear he was pondering about the idea of it. His opinion on fire pokemon having changed significantly in the past year, yet there was still a fear that always lingered. "Noooot sure..." [break][break]

Though as Kazimir chooses to hide Razz is still looking. Though after hearing his reasoning he does squat down, though all too late as there was a small group of them coming at them. Salem up on the rocket looking at them as they came. "It looked more like they were playing games than fighting," he comments his own opinion though he allows the other a chance to react. See just how he wanted to handle things as he knows he is still new, and so Razz is curious to see how he wants to handle things.

It seemed Razz was right on the money that they were enjoying nothing but merry games until they were noticed by the duo watching them. As the small little soldiers decided to walk in their direction Kazimir decided that they didn't seem to be harmful in anyway. Even their chaperone was just watching from a distance with blue eyes trained on the little ones. With that Kazimir stood up, his size giving them a sight that they couldn't miss as Razz stood noticeably shorter next to him. As the group of four little cadets stopped in their tracks and gazed up at both him and Razz with Kaz approaching them and kneeling down to try and meet them at eye level as best as they could.

"Well ain't you all just a couple of kids having fun huh?" A smile on his face as he greeted the little ones only for them to suddenly gain a glint of fear yet determination in their eyes as the group of them suddenly raised up their small little hands together and one of them even jumped and aimed a punch at Kazimir only for the man to lean back out of the way and raise up to his full height with a laugh. "Man these guys sure do got some fire in them! Fiesty little fuggers! Think they don't mean us any real harm though Razz!"

As he called out to him one of the small little Charcadets walked up to Razz and started to lightly kick the man's leg as if he was another giant enemy to take down.

"Fugger?" Razz questions not sure if the other man was just censoring himself or if 'fugger' was actually a word he just hasn't heard of. Though as he is questioning it he does look down as the one that kicks his leg successfully catches his attention. He looks to their guardian to make sure they're not bothered by them being so close to what he would assume is their children before he squats down to the Charcadet. [break][break]

Once the Range is at his level the fire pokemon gives a small cry as the flame on top of their head grows some. Seemingly looking as if he were trying to start the game once more. Blue eyes stare into his red one as if to challenge him, Salem seems to encourage it as well before Razz gives an amused smirk, "Alright then," he gives before he brings out his hands and between them he creates a ball of fire to counter the size of the Charcadet's. [break][break]

Razz fine with using his abilities in front of the new Ranger seeing as they both had done aqua activities while so the other should already know his status. "Try not to mention this to the other Rangers alright?" he ask as he rather it not be too public. [break][break]

Meanwhile another of the charcadet looks to Kazimir and seems to do the same with growing their fire. Seeing what the other human would do.[break][break]

Kaz stares at Razz in wonder alongside the other Charcadet as they see Razz create a small ball of flame in his hand to impress the little Pokemon. The junior Ranger then crossed his fingers over his chest to let his senior know that he would keep his little secret with him. He wasn't sure when Razz must have gotten this power but he was at least happy to know that they had a bit more capable strength on the League's side. Unfortunately that meant that when Kaz's own little fire soldier wanted to play by mimicking its brethren Kaz couldn't help but feel a bit upstaged.

It wanted to see if Kaz could do something similar and Kaz sort of shared its feelings, he always felt like he was a bit out of place in their little team aqua due to the nature of it all even if he wasn't technically alone in that regard. Still...there was something he knew he could probably do that wasn't easy for others the more he thought about it. So he took out a ball and let out his trusty Falinks who gathered around his feet in a circle as they saluted to the Charcadet. "Ain't as cool as Mr. Firebender buuut... Me and my guys can do a lot together."

Standing up straight the ginger raised up his arms only to suddenly strike a pose punching the air as a yellow aura suddenly surrounded him before attaching itself to the Falinks as he took out a deep breath. "These hands of ours are burning bright! ALL OUT PUMMELING!" Each soldier of the Falinks sent out an orb into the air as it turned into the shape of a fist and repeatedly punched the air above them. As they finished the little Charcadet couldn't help but really let its flames grow as it seemed to almost jump for joy at the sight of it all, earning a bit of a smile from Kaz.

Admittedly Razz steps back, a bit surprised with how much firepower the little guy had. And even just as surprised how the fighting type was able to conjure up a flame to try and compete. The ranger chuckles slightly as he buckles his nerves. Some of his old phobia slowly scratching at the surface and it almost makes him want to drop his fire. But he recalls the warm feeling he gets with his own. A bond being forged and grown near everytime he summons Reshiram's flame. [break][break]

"But can you make it bigger?" Razz offers as he tries to add a bit more fuel to his own fire to make it bigger, though he doubts he would actually win.

The ginger giant let out a tired sigh as he let his whole body relax and his Falinks each fell onto their bottoms as the energy of their Z-Move left them. Even if it was used for just showing off it still took a lot out of the duo. Sadly this seemed to anger the little Charcadet who simply let out a small cry as it stomped at the ground and let the flame on its head flare up. Razz luckily saved Kaz by showing off more of his flames as they burned brighter than before.

It was enough to catch the other Charcadet's attention as it joined its brother in watching Razz play with fire. The both of them seemed jump with happy cries at the mere sight of it. "Damn, ok I think you got me beat this time Razzy. Looks like they like playing with fire than little fire works like mine." Congratulatory words spoken as Kaz joined his Falinks in sitting down and watching the man conjure even larger flames.

Eventually Razz's fire faulters some, allowing his charcadet he was befriending to make a bigger fire. Razz might be able to make fire but he wasn't immune to it. Well not to flames that weren't his own. The younger ranger falls back to take a seat as he tried to cool down from the fire as the Charcadet celebrates his victory. He gives a slightly amused chuckle to Kazimir, "In fairness yours is more natural and a lot more fun could possibly be manipulated with it," Razz responds as he shakes the hand of the winning charcadet. [break][break]

"But yeah whenever you can just make friends with the wild pokemon around here the better, allows it for when you come here and try to help the wild pokemon could actually vouch for you with some of the others around," Razz tries to teach the other Ranger knowing the former Elite Four member was still in the learning stages of being a Ranger. As he says this he does give a glance to the possible 'parents' of the two fire pokemon as they seemed much more calm about having a human around.

"That's...fair..." It was something that he felt like was almost a forgotten art when it came to Pokemon. The Rangers did indeed help Pokemon themselves but it always seemed like it was more of just aiding them than connecting with them. Then again one could say that was the job of a Pokemon Trainer instead of a Ranger but they also used Pokemon themselves to do so. How strong was the connection between Pokemon and people?

Seeing Razz he was reminded of the connection between him and Reshiram, so maybe it worked a little something like that only on a smaller scale? These were all questions Kaz himself didn't have the answers too and would just hurt his head thinking about them now. So for now he would just enjoy the company he did have at present. Speaking of which their little play date became interrupted by the appearance of a Ceruledge approaching them with a small Charcadet in tow.

As Kaz stared at the knightly Pokemon it exchanged looks with the red head man and then back towards the little cadet Pokemon hiding behind it and nudging it forward. The little cadet looked up at Kaz and outstretched its arms as if asking for him to pick it up. As he reached down the little cadet let out a cry and waved its arms again, this time pointing them right at Kazimir's belt, his large frame holding it higher up than the average person, where a line of Pokeballs were strapped to it. The little cadet then pointed at itself, then the confused Falinks, and then at the equally confused Kazimir before letting out another cry. Something that Kaz was fairly familiar with but was still trying to process.

"You...wanna come along with me?" Was it impressed with his display over Razz's? He looked back to the Ceruledge who seemed to only stare at him with a firm eye, one that almost seemed to ooze trust in it, "I...I think you might have been onto something Razzy, though I don't think this is what ya meant exactly right?" He turned to his Ranger friend with a befuddled look on him as if pleading for some sort of advice on what he should do. Being asked to be taken in even with its parent right there was a new one for Kaz and he was at a lost of what his next action should be.
